Baseball Training Camp

Son enrolled in Strikes Baseball Training Camp: My son and I began our association with John Hayley during a ten week Power Performance camp held in the fall/winter for a spiring baseball and softball players at Strikes Baseball Academy. The camp was geared towards helping these players prepare for their upcoming baseball or softball seasons. The aim was to help improve speed and quickness, agility and flexibility, and core strength. Boys and girls attended ranging in age from 8-16 years old.

A major first impression for me was John's ability to communicate and identify with this diverse group of kids. They were relaxed and comfortable with John and with the camp structure. This resulted in the kids buying into what John was teaching, and consequently they seemed to put all of their efforts into successfully completing the exercises and routines being taught to them. John knew every kid's name by the end of the first hour, and in the case of my son, knew his strengths and weaknesses from a fitness standpoint and what he needed to work on to improve.

As my son's enthusiasm level rose during the ensuing weeks at the camp, so did John's. He put together an additional program for my son to work on while away from the camp. He pointed out specific exercise equipment that would be helpful and useful to have, and directed us to suppliers that had what my son needed at reasonable costs. He even provided discount coupons to use to purchase this equipment at further reduced costs. This was another example of the completeness and attention to detail that goes along with all the endeavors that John has embarked upon with my son.

The above information has not yet touched upon the positive results my son has accrued from this program and association with Mr. Hayley. My son's fitness level has soared. He is faster, quicker, and stronger. His balance and agility have increased. He is filling into his frame completely. Not just lower body or upper body improvement, but total body improvement and fitness. The changes in his physique and physical capabilities have led him to strive for a more completely healthful lifestyle. He is more mentally and spiritually aware of his own personal body fitness, and he is even trying to make changes in his diet as well. He has started to look at the bigger picture. Before his association with John this just wasn't happening.

John Hayley has a unique personality that is particularly suited to his skills as a personal trainer. Positive and upbeat, he stresses the good in his students and helps them aspire to bettering themselves. His programs are professionally run and result oriented. His students enjoy their time with him. They are having fun and don't realize they are also getting fitter and stronger. My son and I were so pleased with the improvements of both body and mind that John's program evoked that we have chosen to continue training with him following the conclusion of the baseball/softball camp. I'm convinced that working with John is a major stepping stone on the path towards my son's future success in both sports and in life. In my opinion, he is highly recommended as a sports fitness trainer.
