About Power Performance Founders John Hayley and Virg Gerin
John C. Hayley is the former head strength and conditioning coach at Concordia University in River Forest, where he played baseball and gained
a degree in exercise science. His work has included an internship in Northwestern University’s strength and conditioning department and serving
as an exercise physiologist, coordinator and coach of the GO Gottlieb Performance Training program.
He is owner of Hayley Services Inc., with a wide range of work that includes individual and group fitness instruction. He is online at

Virg Gerin is a graduate of Holy Cross High in River Grove and Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. He has been coaching high school
football, basketball and baseball for 18 years and serves as assistant varsity baseball coach and offensive football coordinator at Fenwick High
in Oak Park.
Gerin was a four-year football letter winner at Northern Illinois University, including team captain during his senior year. He has been
inducted into the athletic halls of fame at Northern Illinois University and Holy Cross High School. He resides in River Forest.
